the fön weather makes all of us lunatic i guess …

i’d already buried the recipes when i stuffed the t-shirts and shorts into the back row of my wardrobe …
and came up with mulled wine and sweet chestnuts …

but now the roses are still in bloom
and i can’t help mulling over this summer’s favourite drink

made up of
2 cl koshino kirayuki sake
2 cl lillet blanc
2 cl lychee juice
1 cl rose syrup (homemade but monin alo offers it)

shaken and strained over ice cubes and rose petals

best served when the sun is still up (in november) for aperitif
or on a hot summer day when the sun goes down …
